Dear Valued Patient,
I would like to thank you for the trust you have given me over the past twenty years as your physician. Taking care of you has been an honor for my staff and me. Your continuing wellness and eye health are priorities for us.
I am writing today to inform you that we will be closing the Brownwood practice effective October 1, 2024. I am sorry but we are no longer able to travel to Brownwood due to inadequate staffing which is essential for patient safety and high quality care. Because of high staff turnover since COVID and lack of qualified personnel, we cannot compromise the quality of your care. Therefore, we have decided to close our Brownwood office.
We understand that change can be difficult, and we want to make this transition as smooth as possible for you. Although our Brownwood location will no longer be available, please rest assured that I, along with our other highly qualified physicians, are still here to provide the care you need at our Abilene office (Monday – Friday). Your continued retina care is very important to us, and we are committed to ensuring you receive the best possible treatment.
Please contact our main office, in Abilene, if you wish to obtain copies of your medical records or we will gladly transfer them to a physician of your choice.
